The Federal Work Study (FWS) Program provides meaningful work experience for eligible students who demonstrate financial need. While earning money to help pay educational expenses, students are encouraged to find work related to their course of study or interest as well as community service work.
Eligibility
- Interested students must first complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA) form listing Pacific Oaks College (code 001255) as a recipient.
- Students must be enrolled at least half-time and meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
- The student must be a United States citizen or non-citizen national of the United States. International students are encouraged to apply for non-FWS jobs.
- Students must also submit the Student Employment Eligibility Form to Financial Aid using the student portal. Once the form has been reviewed and completed by a financial aid counselor, the student will receive a FWS authorization letter and must present the letter during the interview.
