We recognize the sacrifices many of our students make to fulfill their educational dreams. Below you will find scholarships and grants that may assist you in making your educational dreams a reality.
We have two different scholarship programs—our Institutional Scholarships for new students and our Donor Scholarships for current and active students. All scholarships are available to online and on-campus students. Unless otherwise specified, all scholarships are applied toward tuition
Institutional Scholarships
(for new students)
New students to Pacific Oaks College may apply online for eight different scholarships. Scholarships are awarded on a first come, first awarded basis. We recommend completing all required documents a minimum of one month prior to your anticipated start of classes date to be considered for scholarship awards.
Donor Scholarships
The Donor Scholarship application period for the application cycle has now closed. We are no longer accepting applications. Eligible scholarship applications will be reviewed. Decisions will be emailed to applicants two weeks before the Summer 2021 semester begins.

Special Scholarship for Pacific Oaks Children’s School Parents.
Pacific Oaks is now offering the PO Family Scholarship to parents of Children’s School students. This scholarship covers 25% of tuition and fees toward pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree at Pacific Oaks College. Grants
Federal and state grants are available to students who are able to demonstrate financial need. The first step is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA ®) form. Pell Grant
A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor's or a professional degree. The award a student may receive, however, will depend on financial need, the cost to attend school, student enrollment status (i.e., full time or part time) and if a student plans to attend school for a full academic year or less.
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) program is for undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional financial need. Pell Grant recipients with the lowest expected family contributions (EFCs) will be considered first for a FSEOG. Just like Pell Grants, the FSEOG does not have to be repaid. Students can receive between $100 and $4,000 a year, depending on financial need.
Cal Grants
Cal Grants are California state-funded grants awarded to undergraduate students who meet a certain high school grade point average and income requirements. Cal Grants do not have to be repaid. Applicants must be a graduating, or recently graduated, high school senior from California or have recently obtained their GED. For students that do not have a high school GPA to submit, such as students that were home-schooled or attended a charter school, you may submit ACT or SAT scores. Applicants must complete a FAFSA between October 1st and March 2nd to determine eligibility.
