Coral Compagnoni

Coral Compagnoni, LMFT, is a clinician and trainer specializing in the areas of trauma and dissociation. Coral received her MA in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University and her bachelor's degree at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania.

For nearly a decade, Coral has worked extensively with trauma (including attachment disruptions and developmental trauma) and it sequalae, in a variety of populations, and across the lifespan from infancy into older adulthood. Currently, Coral has a private practice and provides EMDR and trauma therapy at The Meadows Intensive Outpatient Treatment Center in Silicon Valley and at The Camden Center in Menlo Park. Prior to that, Coral was at Para Los Niños in Los Angeles for six and a half years working with children living below the poverty line. At Para Los Niños, in addition to providing extensive clinical work in the community to children and their families, Coral supervised clinicians and developed a trauma training program to educate the clinical staff in trauma-competent care. She also provided a variety of trainings to parents and teachers on trauma and related topics, and assisted Para Los Niños charter schools with the implementation of trauma-informed practices in the classroom.

Coral is certified in EMDR Therapy, is trained in Level 1 of Internal Family Systems (IFS), and is a Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) clinician. She has supervised clinicians, provides EMDR consultation, and provides trainings in trauma-informed and trauma-competent practices to therapists and organizations. Coral is a member of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA), and the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT).
