Biography

Dan Beaman has been an adjunct professor with several universities since 2001. During that time, Dan has researched and implemented best practices for educational social justice, research, assessment, community partnerships, educational law, teacher certification, and human development. Since 2014, Dan has taught several courses at Pacific Oaks.

Dan is also an elementary school teacher, having worked in many capacities including: classroom teacher in grades second through eighth, math interventionist, math data coordinator, and educational technology instructor. Dan's academic interests include: social justice, culturally relevant pedagogy, developmentally appropriate pedagogy, dysregulation/trauma, classroom communities, and STEAM instruction.
