I have been working in education since 2002 serving as a teacher and administrator in K-12 schools. Through my teaching experiences, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of learners from diverse backgrounds in several different content areas. I have worked in different environments, including a traditional brick-and-mortar classroom, alternative education schools, online synchronous group instruction, and independent study. I currently work as the 504 Coordinator for a network of charter schools throughout California.
In addition to teaching courses for Pacific Oaks, I am a practicum supervisor at UCSC for single subject English teaching credential candidates and teach the Secondary English Methods course there. I have previously worked as a practicum supervisor and taught courses for the Be A Teacher special education credential internship program through the Santa Cruz County Office of Education.
