Dr. Ismerio is a passionate educator that sees eduction as an opportunity to transform, inspire, and motivate students, teachers, and parents. She is currently working as an administrator in a TK-8th grade setting, and previously taught 4th and 5th grade. Dr. Ismerio has also worked as a Professional Development Specialist and Instructional coach for public and private schools focusing on instructional practices.
Dr. Ismerio's research is centered on alternative discipline practices and helping teachers build relationships in order to affect positive student behavior. Through her research findings she was able to create a school-wide framework to support discipline practices and ensure their effective implementation.
