Teaching has become one of my life's greatest achievements. Working with the community is something I am entirely grateful for every single day. I am inspired by the students to fight for change and progress and I will always advocate for their success. I truly believe that together, we are unstoppable.
My interests include science, politics, architecture, and philosophy. When I'm not teaching I am writing poetry and stories, painting, and running two companies as a publisher, Nervous Ghost Press, and a taquero, Mejia Brothers Tacos. Who says you can't do everything you love?

Please describe your teaching philosophy. |
I teach because the moment I discovered (was taught) that my voice mattered, forever changed my life. My purpose is, and will always be, to work with students and guide them to realize that they each have a voice to be shared. |
