Preston Carr

Dr. Preston Carr, a dedicated educator with over 39 years in the public school system, has left an indelible mark in the field pf education. His multifaceted career includes roles such as teacher, high school counselor, assistant principal, and principal for many years. Over the past five seven years, he has served as director for an international program, showcasing his commitment to global education. His current position is Director, Alternative Education with the Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD). He has developed/implemented an array of highly successful district programs for students who do not function well in a traditional classroom.

Dr. Carr's expertise extends beyond administration, as evidenced by his successful development of district programs tailored for both traditional and non-traditional learners. His visionary approach is reflected in the creation of enrichment programs, fostering academic excellence among students striving for the highest achievement.

With a background as a high school principal, Dr. Carr possesses an intimate understanding of curriculum dynamics and the essential qualities of an effective teacher. His enduring contributions have significantly impacted the education landscape, making a respected figure in both local and international spheres.

Dr. Carr, a trailblazer in education, has also spearheaded a K-8 elementary program at public schools. In the field of education, he has worked as a director for CVUSD for the last 13 years. A teacher for 16 years and counselor at the secondary level. He also worked as an assistant principal prior to becoming a principal.
