Question and Answer
Please describe your teaching philosophy.

My teaching philosophy reflects my interest in collaborative learning. Instead of the "traditional" teaching method of largely autocratic lectures, I prefer evidence-based, student-centered teaching that encourages learning by both students and teachers. I favor classroom dynamics that permit dialogue and foster a degree of student input as to curricula. I like students to think about the class as a community.
