Technology Requirements

Students will be able to access our learning platform with either Windows or a Mac. Specific requirements are on the Canvas website. Most users will be able to readily connect to the website without adjustments.

Suggested Accessories

  • External USB Hard Drive (2.0 or 3.0) – It is strongly suggested that all data (pictures, documents, etc.) stored on your laptop be backed up to an external hard drive in the event your laptop breaks, is lost, or stolen.
  • Jump Drives/Thumb Drives/USB Storage Device – We suggest that all students have access to a thumb drive for easy data transfer from one device to another. Another benefit of a jump drive is the ability to easily access data (pictures, documents, etc.) in the classroom without having your laptop on hand.
  • Laptop Bag – Suggested for laptop protection and for ease of carrying and mobility.
